ISEE

The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is required for application to San Diego's top private middle schools, including The Bishop's School, La Jolla Country Day School, Francis Parker Academy, and Warren Walker.

Our individualized, one-on-one test preparation program begins with a diagnostic practice test to acquaint students with the ISEE and illuminate their areas of strength and weakness. Our instructors then build students' foundational skills and teach them specific test-taking strategies in verbal reasoning (vocabulary), reading comprehension, and mathematics. With these skills in place, we work with students to enhance their problem-solving ability.

Pacing of our test preparation program depends on the student. Students with wider gaps in their foundational skills will benefit from advance preparation to strengthen their areas of weakness. In addition to giving your child the best chance to succeed on the ISEE, you will be giving him or her the most essential skills to excel in the years ahead.
